Our Story
River Nest was founded with a simple observation: many capable, intelligent adults were being left behind as the world moved increasingly online. Bank branches closed, government services went digital, and staying connected with family meant learning new tools.
Our founder, after spending countless hours helping neighbours and family members navigate technology, recognised that traditional computer courses often moved too quickly and assumed knowledge that many learners simply did not have.
We opened our doors in Liverpool in 2019, choosing this city for its strong sense of community and the evident need for accessible digital education. What started as a small operation in a community centre has grown into a dedicated learning space where hundreds of local residents have discovered that technology need not be intimidating.
